"Yorkshire Vision"

It was one day of double impact with the Vision 2020 UK Low Vision
Conference and a UK Vision Strategy Partnership Seminar both taking place on 30 November.

Supported by Action for Blind People, Henshaws Society for Blind People, NALSVI, The Wilberforce Trust and York Blind and Partially Sighted Society, the day offered delegates the opportunity to attend either one or both events.

The Low Vision Conference gave delegates a user perspective of low vision services, the chance to hear about World Class Commissioning and how it can work for them, and identify actions to improve the delivery of eye care services.

The UK Vision Strategy Partnership Seminar looked at the Yorkshire and the Humber approach to the UK Vision Strategy. It aimed to share good practice, develop partnerships and identify priorities for future action. The afternoon session was Chaired by Keith McKee, CEO of The Wilberforce Trust.
