Attached below are the presentitons from the: ‘Impact of visual impairment on health, wealth & jobs – taking a person-centred approach to wellbeing’ confernce held at Sight Village Birmingham on 18.07.17

The conference was hosted by West Midlands Local Eye Health Network in partnership with VISION 2020 UK, Health Education England in the West Midlands, and Sight Village.

This event considered the public health wider impact on issues of employment and unemployment for people who are blind and partially sighted.  Speakers from the third sector  considered the problems and opportunities and speakers from local and national public health organisations considered the wider societal impact. We also heard from those with lived experience of visual impairment and employment/unemployment.
